Guest Reviews & Ratings
The hotel has its ups and downs. The rooms, despite a recent facelift, felt a bit old, especially the bathroom, yet they were spacious and had a stunning view of 4th Avenue. However, the room size was a bit tight with prices that may remind you of London. The chilly room lacked enough blankets for comfort.
The hotel's location is wonderful, with a stellar lobby and workout room, making it very close to many restaurants, the visitors center, and the train depot. The rooms were sort of bare bones and not up to Hilton standards, unfortunately, as they were swarming with large, black flies. The service, from the conference coordinators to the waiters/waitresses, was friendly and helpful, with a gesture of apology and a complimentary bottle of champagne. The dining experience in the tower dining room was up to Hilton standards, but the buffet option was minimal with an empty dish and limited hot dishes. However, the fresh fish was a good option. Overall, while the location was great, the rooms and dining had some issues.
My stay at this hotel was decent overall. The rooms were up to Hilton standards, but they had a faint smoke smell that lingered. The service was a mix of friendly and apologetic staff, although sometimes overwhelmed. The location was stellar with a nice view of the mountains and convenient for various activities. The dining options were varied but a bit pricey. The facilities were satisfactory, but there were some issues with the room temperature fluctuating throughout the night.
